Is a deposit required to book?
A deposit of £60 secures your date entirely to you. This means no other bookings are taken on your wedding day, allowing full flexibility on times, travel and your numbers.
I don’t know my full arrangements yet.
Once a deposit is paid and a booking form complete, the date is all yours. The finer details we can confirm closer to the time. All we require is you stick to the minimum numbers.
What are the minimum numbers for a bridal makeup booking?
A minimum number of Bride + 2 is required. For Bank Holiday & Sunday dates, a minimum of Bride + 3 is required. If your bridal party is large, myself and Jae may attend, but you’ll be advised on this during the booking process.
Do you come to me on the wedding morning?
Yes! Along with my professional makeup I also bring the market leading makeup lights so I can confidently carry out makeup in the best light, regardless of location or weather conditions and a makeup chair for comfort and correct positioning.
How far will you travel?
We cover the North of England but can travel throughout the country and overseas. Travel charges will apply outside of a 10 mile radius of our studio and are charged at 45p per mile. Overseas travel costs are quoted individually based on journey.
Do I need a Bridal makeup trial?
It is essential for brides to have a trial. Not only for the purpose of perfecting your bridal look for the day, but I sometimes also suggest skin care and beauty treatment advice, so everything is perfect for the wedding day. A trial will take around 2 hours at my private studio based in Blackburn.
Does my Bridal party require a trial?
If any of your bridal party has any allergies or sensitivities a trial can eliminate any concerns for the wedding day. If anyone isn’t sure if professional makeup is for them or they’ve had a bad experience before, a trial can also help put them at ease. A bride can also bring anyone along to her trial and just seeing how in-depth we work fills people with confidence.
What type of products do you use?
We only use the highest quality products from brands such as Illamasqua, Mac, Ben Nye, Laura Mercier, Kevyn Aucoin, Make Up Forever, Charlotte Tilbury, Bare Minerals, Ardell and Skindinavia. We always choose Cruelty Free and can offer vegan and other options too.
I don’t know what Bridal look to go for
Don’t worry. Because our kits are so vast and cater for all skin types, shades, textures and finishes, we can accommodate any look. At a trial wed discuss your entire wedding which helps to guide makeup. Your skin is analysed and the best products selected to ensure your look is individually tailored to what you like, compliments your themes and also remains perfect through the entire day and evening.
